My 3rd G Grandmother was Mary SMITH
(a weaver) born 2 June 1833 in Gt Harwood.

Her siblings were James, Richard, John,
Wilson and Milicent. Wilson Smith is a
witness at Mary's marriage in 1852
to Henry Rydeard.

Mary's parents were Joseph SMITH
(a weaver) and Alice KEMP who married
in Great Harwood on 5 November 1828.

Joseph SMITH was born c1805 in
Gt Harwood and his parents were
Henry SMITH and Ann MERCER who
married on the 14th Feb 1804 in
Great Harwood. Henrys only sibling I
have found so far is Maria SMITH.

Henry SMITH was born c1781 and his
parents were Thomas SMITH and
Jennet GILES who were married on
17 August 1765 in Great Harwood.

Thomas SMITH's parents were
Bernard SMITH and Alice HODGSON
who married c1745.
